چکیده

In this paper a solution is given for the problem to determine the duration of a parallel asynchronous multi–step process in a homogeneous system of combinational logic. In such a system the problem arises if the processors have different speeds and input data. If so each processor “knows” its own data and the type of the process but in general has no information about the speed of the other processors and their input data.

Fuzzy Modeling and Synchronization of a New Hyperchaotic Complex System with Uncertainties

In this paper, the synchronization of a new hyperchaotic complex system based on T-S fuzzy model is proposed. First, the considered hyperchaotic system is represented by T-S fuzzy model equivalently. Then, by using the parallel distributed compensation (PDC) method and by applying linear system theory and exact linearization (EL) technique, a fuzzy controller is designed to realize the synchron...

Static Task Allocation in Distributed Systems Using Parallel Genetic Algorithm

Over the past two decades, PC speeds have increased from a few instructions per second to several million instructions per second. The tremendous speed of today's networks as well as the increasing need for high-performance systems has made researchers interested in parallel and distributed computing. The rapid growth of distributed systems has led to a variety of problems. Task allocation is a...

Linear matrix inequality approach for synchronization of chaotic fuzzy cellular neural networks with discrete and unbounded distributed delays based on sampled-data control

In this paper, linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach for synchronization of chaotic fuzzy cellular neural networks (FCNNs) with discrete and unbounded distributed delays based on sampled-data controlis investigated. Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional combining with the input delay approach as well as the free-weighting matrix approach are employed to derive several sufficient criteria in terms of...

μsik – A Micro-Kernel for Parallel/Distributed Simulation Systems

We present a novel micro-kernel approach to building parallel/distributed simulation systems. Using this approach, we develop a unified system architecture for incorporating multiple types of simulation processes. The processes hold potential to employ a variety of synchronization mechanisms, and could alter their choice of mechanism dynamically. Supported mechanisms include traditional lookahe...

Studying Dynamic behavior of Distributed Parameter Processes Behavior Based on Dominant Gain Concept and it’s Use in Controlling these Processes

In this paper, distributed parameter process systems behavior is studied in frequency domain. Based on the dominant gain concept that is developed for such studies, a method is presented to control distributed parameter process systems. By using dominant gain concept, the location of open loop zeros, resulted from the time delay parameter in the process model, were changed from the right half p...

Monitoring and Visualization in TOPSYS

It is widely acknowledged that writing parallel programs is much more complex than writing sequential programs. This is particularly true for distributed memory multi-processor systems and message passing programming models. Graphical representations of a program execution can increase the understanding of parallel programs. The paper describes the on-line visualization and animation system VIS...
